What was counted

The archived edition lists 13 repositories and a combined 10,191 stars gained during the reported daily window. Its editorial classification marks ten as AI- or Agent-related. That category is a reading of this selected chart, not a measure of all GitHub activity or developer adoption.

The three Skill-oriented entries—Hallmark, mattpocock/skills, and marketingskills—accounted for 3,669 of those stars, about 36 percent. This concentrates attention on reusable instructions and workflows. It does not establish how many people installed them, kept using them, or achieved better results.

Three ways to read the same chart

First, separate discovery from readiness. OpenCut led this snapshot, while the archived analysis recorded a README recommendation to use its classic version during a rewrite. A prominent chart position could therefore lead a reader toward a project whose current development branch was not the recommended starting point.

Second, inspect the failure boundary. destructive_command_guard appeared as a tool for intercepting dangerous commands before execution. Its presence suggests interest in controlling Agent actions, but appearing on Trending does not prove that a guard catches every destructive operation. Its actual rules and your intended environment still need review.

Third, look at collections as well as frameworks. awesome-llm-apps, maths-cs-ai-compendium, and exercises-dataset together accounted for 2,958 daily stars in the edition. Organizing examples or reference material can attract attention without introducing a new model. That is a useful discovery angle, not evidence that every item in a collection is maintained.

Why we keep the original order and date

The snapshot includes YimMenuV2 with 21 reported daily stars. Sorting only by that number would produce a different list from the captured Trending order. Preserve the source order and report the metric separately; do not silently turn a chart observation into a new ranking.

For an adoption decision, open the repository, check its recommended release, license, dependencies, open issues, and example workflow, then try it on a bounded task. The chart supplies candidates. None of those implementation checks can be replaced by its position or star count.
