15-ping 1-bedroom floor plan: 1 bath, bath and kitchen on the hallway side

A sample 1-bedroom, 1-living-room, 1-bath layout for a 15-ping deed area with an estimated 27% shared-facility ratio. Indoors plus balcony is about 36 m² (10.9 ping). The bathroom, kitchen, and front door sit together on the hallway side, so the bedroom and living room both get the windows. The kitchen is a one-wall counter with room for a two-seat dining table beside it. The living room opens to the balcony through a glass door. Design notes

  • Bedroom is 2.74 m wide: a 174 cm double bed against one wall and a 1.35 m wardrobe on the other leave a walkway of about 54 cm.
  • Bathroom and kitchen are both on the hallway side: the plumbing stays together, and the bedroom and living room keep the daylight side.
  • The trade-off is the living room: about 2.94 m wide, with about 1.66 m from sofa to TV unit, which is close. For a bigger TV, try a smaller sofa in 3D.

Room sizes

  • Bedroom: 2.74 × 2.94 m, 8.1 m² (2.5 ping)
  • Bathroom: 1.54 × 2.14 m, 3.3 m² (1.0 ping)
  • Living room: about 2.94 × 3.00 m, 8.8 m² (2.7 ping)
  • Dining and kitchen: about 4.14 × 2.20 m, 9.1 m² (2.8 ping)
  • Balcony: 2.90 × 1.00 m, 2.9 m² (0.9 ping)

How the area is counted

  • Outline area about 36.1 m² (10.9 ping): measured on wall center lines, balconies included, shared facilities excluded.
  • The ping in the title is the deed area. The 27.2% shared-facility ratio is an estimate and varies a lot between buildings.
  • Room sizes are wall to wall. Living and dining areas have no dividing wall, so they are marked “about”.

What to know in 3D

This is a sample layout drawn by KeepOnFirst, not the plan of any real building. Ping figures and shared-facility ratios are estimates. Check the builder’s plan and measure on site for real sizes.

  • The front door has no opening in 3D. It is only drawn on the sample plan; in 3D you see the entry floor tiles.
  • Balcony edges show as solid walls in 3D, not railings.
